Oolong (ulong) tea is unique in its taste and aroma, and is classified between green and black teas. The tea leaves, once picked, are crushed on bamboo mats, dried, twisted and semi-oxidised until a perfect balance of flavours is achieved. The tea trees are grown in the Himalayas at +1400m, using the top two leaves and the bud.
