Coffee Laroché No1, beans
A selection of Arabica coffee beans from sunny COLOMBIA and BRAZIL. 100% Arabica, medium roast
The LAROCHÉ blend is balanced for our Nordic taste: a captivating aroma, a distinctive taste and a long-lasting aftertaste. Free from excessive acidity and unwanted bitterness. The excellent taste and aroma are accompanied by a firm, creamy foam.
Brazilian coffee: probably the most aromatic, with a characteristic sweet aroma. The taste is characterised by nutty and caramel notes. Colombian coffee: milder than the latter, with fruitiness and a distinct cherry finish.
In BRAZIL, most coffee trees grow at relatively low altitudes of up to 1km above sea level, while in other coffee countries coffee trees grow at altitudes of 1.5-2km. The beans are dry-dried in the sun and then roasted medium in Lithuania, resulting in a flavour with strong nutty and caramel notes and a creamy, dense body. It is probably the most aromatic coffee with a very characteristic sweet aroma.
COLOMBIA is a special country because of its diversity of climates, from the Amazon rainforest to the highlands of the Andes. The coffee tree ripens at a much higher altitude than in Brazil - up to 1.9 km above sea level. They are constantly blessed by tropical rains. The processing method for this coffee is wet. The Colombian coffee has a distinct fruitiness and a hint of cherry compote. It is milder and lighter than Brazilian coffee.
